Description
I gathered the content for this package and published it online for McClatchy Interactive. It contains the story, photos, related stories, graphics and audio clips. This is how Tri-CityHerald.com chose to display the story. Each affiliate could display MI's content how they wished. This package also contained a photo gallery, which I also built, but Tri-CityHerald.com chose not to use it. We limited the amount of additional content we added to each package. In this case, because of the unprecedented nature of the disaster, I included more content than normal.

After an earthquake hit San Diego on Dec. 30, 2009, I came up with the idea to create this map, which features San Diegans' reactions to the quake. My colleague Jeff Dillon and I worked together to create the map and to gather comments for it.Web Design, Journalism2012 -
